Meet The Doctors


Richard F. Andolina, Jr, DDS

Dr. Andolina Jr received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his Masters degree from SUNY Buffalo.  Following completion of his masters program, Dr Andolina received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (UBSDM).  After completing a general practice residency at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady (Albany), NY, he moved back to Hornell where he has been practicing dentistry full time since 2014.

Dr. Andolina is extremely active within organized dentistry, participating at the local, state and national levels of the American Dental Association (ADA) tripartite.  He is a member of the board of directors and a past president of the 7th District Dental Society which represents the eight counties of New York’s Seventh Congressional District.  Additionally, Dr. Andolina currently serves on the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA) Council on Dental Practice.

In addition to his dental related activities, Dr. Andolina currently serves as the Treasurer of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Foundation, and is a very active supporter of many other philanthropic organizations throughout the southern tier.

Dr. Andolina has recently been awarded honorary fellowship into the Pierre Fauchard Academy which is an international honor society that recognizes high ethical standards and outstanding leadership in the dental profession and outstanding contributions and service to the advancement of the art and science of dentistry and to the society.  Dr. Andolina was also inducted into the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists.  Fellowship in each of these organizations symbolize leadership in the profession and the community while holding the highest ethical and moral standards.  Additionally, Dr. Andolina was selected as the recipient of the 2022 Frederick J. Halik Award in recognition of his leadership and dedication to the profession and patients within the 7th district.

Dr. Andolina is a Scholar of the Dawson Academy, taking pride in providing high end comprehensive care to all of his patients.  He believes that it is vital for patients to fully understand the status of their dental health along with the options that are available to help them achieve their goals.  He values the time spent developing a strong two-way relationship with his patients which allows them to make fully informed decisions about their own health.

Ryan T. Batte, DDS, MS

Dr. Batte received his undergraduate degree from Alfred university and his dental degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.  After completing a general practice residency at St. Claire's Hospital in Schenectady, he began practicing dentistry in Hornell in 1990.  A few years later, he earned a masters degree in biomaterials from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.  

Dr. Batte is an excellent clinician, providing high quality, comprehensive care to all of his patients.  Additionally, Dr. Batte is a member of professional organizations that include the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, 7th District Dental Society, the Steuben County Dental Society and the Stonegate Dental Study Club.
